Here are some kitchen tips thanks to Mexican Food and Gifts to Go that will help you save time in the kitchen.

If you pound boneless turkey or chicken to a thinner thickness, you will cut your cooking time by about half without losing the delicious flavor or quality. Using a meat tenderizer is the easiest method, but you can use a rolling pin too. Sandwich the boneless chicken or turkey between two sheets of wax paper to avoid the mess!

Love hamburgers? Try putting small holes into the hamburger patty. You will cut down on the cooking time, get a more even doneness, and the holes vanish during cooking. Have the perfect hamburger in half the time!

Love ice cream, but hate the work involved with serving frozen solid ice cream? Place the whole carton in the microwave for about 15 seconds. You will find scooping the ice cream is a breeze without bending those spoons in half.

For a quick meal, try a stir fry! Cook the vegetables separately until cooked but still firm. While the vegetables are cooking, prepare your meat. Finish the whole dish by simply combining the vegetables and the meat. Nothing could be easier.

Add salsa. Maybe I just love salsa, but anything is better with salsa. For a great meal, simply add salsa to vegetables and/or meat. You will have an amazing meal in just a few moments.

This holiday season, you will find cooking delicious, fast, and easy meals is easy. Just keep these tips and tricks in mind when you get home from a rough day of shopping.
